About SN²

How two lives, two artists, and two hearts became one creative force.

The story of SN² begins long before the duo officially existed. It starts with two individuals — SolitareAce, an emerging DJ and producer searching for meaning after years of emotional hardship, and Neyon Renard, a visual artist who had spent most of her life enduring challenges with no one truly standing beside her. Each carried their own history of hurt, isolation, and strength. Neither knew it yet, but their paths were about to change one another’s lives forever.

1. The First Encounter — “The Goobers”

Their connection began when Solitare joined Neyon’s animation group, The Goobers. At first, Neyon hesitated to let him in. Someone had spread lies about Solitare, and she was unsure whether she could trust him. Despite her doubts, she chose to give him a chance.

During this exchange, Solitare was far from home — he was on a cruise to Vanuatu, trying to escape emotional turmoil caused by someone who had deeply hurt him. Before leaving, he had been engaged to his ex-boyfriend, who proposed less than two months into the relationship. Out of fear of hurting him, Solitare said “yes,” but the relationship rapidly deteriorated. Lies surfaced, truths were exposed, and Solitare eventually ended the engagement — the first time he ever chose to walk away from a relationship.

The breakup left him isolated for months. He carried the weight of emotional damage he hadn’t processed, drifting through life without support.

At the same time, Neyon was battling her own hardships — years of pain, isolation, and enduring everything alone. Nobody had stood beside her. Nobody had supported her. She was surviving, but hurting deeply.

2. Opening Up — Two Lives, One Conversation

While on the cruise, Solitare reached out to Neyon and opened up about the breakup. For the first time in a long time, he had someone willing to listen — truly listen. They exchanged stories they had both kept buried for years. They laughed, cried, and found comfort in one another’s honesty.

After the cruise, the weight of everything pushed Solitare to a breaking point. He planned to give up music production and DJing entirely. He began working on a final project called “Eternal” — a performance designed to be his farewell. The project was dark and emotional, reflecting years of pain, abandonment, and the feeling of being forgotten behind the DJ booth. He even created a trailer expressing his intention to play one final set at a convention and then disappear from the music world.

But Neyon didn’t let him fall.

For the first time in his life, someone believed in him.
She checked on him. She supported him.
She saw the talent, the passion, the potential that he believed the world had forgotten.

Slowly, she encouraged him to keep going.

3. Feelings Grow — And a Confession

Months passed, and their connection deepened. Solitare began to feel something he hadn’t felt in years — love. Not rushed, not forced, not painful. Something real, steady, and mutual.

He decided to confess.

He sent her a special email titled “Eternal Set & Something I Gotta Admit…”
Inside was the Eternal set — and his confession that he had developed feelings for her.

Neyon was shocked, overwhelmed, and unsure at first. But they agreed to explore their feelings slowly and see where the path led.

Their first VR date took place in Cliffside Retreat, a world that played Porter Robinson’s Nurture Live @ Secret Sky 2021 — an album that shaped Solitare’s entire musical journey. Porter Robinson had inspired him to become a DJ and producer, and the Nurture album held deep emotional meaning.

As they spent time together, “Blossom” began to play — a song Porter wrote for his wife, expressing unconditional love, joy, and the fragile beauty of life. Knowing its meaning, Solitare became emotional. Neyon offered him a hug — which he accepted.
That hug became a turning point.
For the first time, someone saw him — the real him — and cared.

4. Becoming Partners — In Art and Life

As their bond grew stronger, Solitare wanted to give Neyon something meaningful — a chance to be part of something bigger, something that recognized her artistic brilliance.

He invited her to form a duo with him:
SN² — a fusion of sound and visual artistry, representing their shared dreams and talents.

When he asked, Neyon cried. Nobody had believed in her before.
But Solitare did.

She accepted.

And together, they began building performances filled with emotion, creativity, and storytelling unlike anything they had seen before.

Eventually, Solitare flew her to Australia, where she now lives, working side-by-side with him to bring their artistic visions to life.

5. The Legacy of SN²

SN² is not just a DJ–visual duo.
